New Members, Introduce Yourselves
Welcome to Glorious Tapestries! We are excited to welcome you to this blessed community of ladies. Please share a little about yourselves here: general residential area, background, family, testimony, leisure activities...whatever you would like to share.
After your introduction has been in this welcome area for a few weeks, I will move this info into a member directory section. If you would like me to include your photo, you may upload it in jpeg format, in Member Photo Uploads, under Picture Gallery.
Hello everyone,
What a blessed testimony this site is. Renee shared it with me today as we passed each other in the hall. I am always thinking and looking for ways to encourage women.
I am a single mom and grandmother at the wonderfully blessed age of 45. I haven't been here long but realize that God took me through all I've been through so that I could arrive at today, another opportunity to glorify him and do more to worship and adore him.
I have since 1999 been involved with various women's ministries. I have shared with some of my closest friends that God has been up to something and has an awesome sense of humor because he has kept me engaged in learning more about women and their needs as well as more about myself. My comeuppance really came when I read the Prayer of Jabez for the first time and realized that whenever a ministry opportunity presented itself to me I could not shy away but had to call boldly on him for strength that I might come outside of myself and share how blessed I am to know him and the women he placed to shape my life.
Thank you again Renee for accepting your call and walking into your season.

I praise God for you Renee. What an honor and a blessing it is to be a part of this community of sisters in Christ. May God continue to bless you for your obedience in going foward with this ministry.
I am a native of Hopewell, VA only recently relocating to Chesterfield. I am a 39 year old wife and mother of a blessed daughter and son. My husband of 14 years is only second to Christ in my life. I thank God that he sent this son of His to find me.
I, and my family have been a member of our church for 10 years, and we are fortunate to have a blessed man of God as pastor.
I am a stay-at-home mom, as well as an author. I praise God for the gift of poetry He has given me, and for allowing me to use it to encourage the body of Christ. I am excited to be a part of my new Glorious Tapestries family and I thank you for receiving me.

We serve an on time God! Renee, I thank God for giving you this vision and for you walking in obedience to bring it to past. I am excited about this new journey that I am about to embark upon. This is my first online experience where I will have the opportunity to dialogue internationally with women who know Christ as well as with women who desire to know Him better.
I am 57yrs old.I was born and raised in a small town in south Jersey. I have lived in Va for the past 33 yrs. I am a retired school teacher and I presently work part time as a fitness coach. I am married to a wonderful man of God and we have been blessed to raise a daughter who is 20yrs old attending her third year of College in Atlanta, GA.
I have been born again for 23 years and a member of my church for 22 years. I thank God for my pastor and my church. If not for the teaching of God's word that I received in this ministry, I know I would not be alive to testify of God's healing power in my life. God has spared my life four times from breast cancer. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that Jesus is my healer. I believe that God continues to watch over His word in my life so that I can fulfill the plans that He has for my life. One of which is to minister to women who have or who have had the same challange that I had.
I am a active member of my church serving in several ministries. I enjoy fashions, decorating, singing, exercising, eating healthy, I am excited about what God is doing this very moment and I know the best is yet to come.

Welcome Ahkeisha!
I am so pleased to have you here. Your calling is just like Jesus'. He loved the unloveable...changed the incorrigible...motivated the discouraged.
Your walk will be an example to all you come across, whether here, or as you go thoughout your day. Your gentle, approachable spirit will cause others to trust you, the very reflection of Christ. Thereby, to trust Him and His finished work.
Thank you for being a part of Glorious Tapestries.

Hello everyone, What can I say? First I am so thankful for God giving Renee this vision and for her yeilding to it. From the first time I visited the site, I was blessed. Thanks Renee. I am a married woman who wants to be an example setter to all. I realize I am going to make mistakes but at the same time I recognize that I am the only Bible that some see. So far this site has encouraged me and reminded me of the needs of others. I thought what a wonderful idea. Some are so sick of "church" this gives them another avenue to stay connected and involved with women of God. To describe me and what I feel God is "calling" me to do is simple. I want to love those that some deem as unlovable. We all have been unlovable at times and even though it may be difficult I want to find the diamond in those persons and help them realize God's potential for their lives so that we can reach others. I also have a passion for children. I am not a mother yet but I my heart is really strong for the little ones. One day I hope to have my own. Since I am now 34 I may have to get started soon! I am happy and excited to get to know each of you. I hope to be a blessing to you as I know many of you will be to me.

Hello Carla,
We are so happy to have you as a part of Glorious Tapestries. I am thrilled and astonished at how the Lord is working out His will through this wonderful "gathering place" of women of God.
I look forward to hearing about all that God performs through you--the people you touch, the seeds you sow--now that you are in Him!
Stay blessed!

Good morning and welcome to Glorious Tapestries, Leen.
I am so excited that we can be a part of what God is doing in your life! This stage of your life can be one of the most invigorating...with all of the life-altering decisions and new ventures.
Remember, little sister in Christ, that you can "rejoice, for the steps of the righteous are ordered of God". (Psalm 37:23, paraphrased ) You are righteous because of your relationship with Christ and not through any works of your own. Whew! That takes the pressure off.
Just trust in His Word, learn to be sensitive to His promptings, and continue to seek counsel from your parents and other wise people in your path.
We look forward to your contributions.
May God richly bless you.

Hello everyone!
I am very excited about this site as it will be a great way to learn about Christ and how to be a true woman of God, which is something God communicated in December of last year.
Why, you ask? Well, I'm approaching 20 and about to make some serious life changes. I have been fortunate enough to be raised in a Christian household, and now I'm preparing to live on my own, make some serious career decisions, and begin my life as a young adult.
I am involved in a college ministry and my friends and I just started a small young women's Bible study this year. I'm looking forward to learning from the women on this site and hopefully contribute something as well.
May God bless you all!

Hey all and God Bless!
This is exciting! I'm so looking forward to being on this site and sharing my heart with other women who know who they are and what God has in store for them.
Just a little about myself. I am a 43 year old with 2 adult children and 1 grandchild. I've known the Lord for 18 years and counting.
My husband and I have a marriage ministry where we do marriage workshops for couples who have a great marriage and would like to expand and make their marriage even greater, and couples who have a some problems in their marriage, but need some help in certain areas. We love what God is doing with us in this ministry and we have seen many, many couples get great healings from these classes. Awesome!
My husband and I are now going to be obediant and have a ministry for Young Adults. Please pray for us...this will be a great transisition.
Blessings to all of you ladies!

Thank you for joining this increasingly wonderful community of women of God. God has called all of us together for such a time as this and for His purpose and to His glory.
Holli, I so look forward to your sharing your testimony as you trusted God during your repeated attacks of breast cancer. I am uplifted by your good fight of faith, (and I only know the "cliff notes" version). You now have the outlet to share your testimony, blow-by-blow as the Spirit wills. And your ministry here will be the one missing ingredient that some woman needs at this very moment. I believe the Lord will send her here to learn there is deliverance and healing in Him. Thank you for being here.
Samantha, thank you for sharing yourself with us and for agreeing to share a few excerpts of your blessed book, "Pressing Toward the Mark". I set myself in agreement that your book will poetically minister the Word of God to women all over the world.
Cassandra, you have much to share. I pray that you will enjoy the precious exchanges of encouragement and inspiration here...and harvest as much as you sow.
Many blessings to you all and again, welcome.
