A Virtuous Woman's Code of Conduct
It doesn't seem that I should have to provide a code of conduct for any woman who is visiting and contributing to Glorious Tapestries, and striving to be the virtuous woman outlined in Proverbs 31.
However, we are all at various stages of spiritual maturity. For that reason, and to ensure we are all singing from the same hymnal, here it is:
- Proverbs 31:26 says, She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. All conversations, including threads, posts, journals, articles, replies and comments, will be edifying, encouraging, helpful, uplifting, inspirational and motivating to those who read them.
- Lively debate is stimulating and is the very heart-beat of forums, but please disagree without being disagreeable. Remember to be sensitive and gracious to those reading. If you don't have anything helpful to say, don't say anything at all. WWJD?
- And of course, don't use profane, offensive language or innuendo. And no... substitutions for profanity such as "s***", "b****" are not acceptable. If you wouldn't say it in church, or print it in your church bulletin, don't say it here.
- All content (including articles, photos, etc) is the property of Glorious Tapestries or the individual author.
- You may not use, plagiarize, or copy material without the express written consent of the owner of that material.
- All content (including articles, photos, etc.) will be posted in good taste.
- Ensure that photos are modest and tasteful.
- While we respect and love women of all faiths, Glorious Tapestries only glorifies the living God (the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob); His Son, Jesus Christ; and His precious Holy Spirit.
- Do not use this space to glorify some other god. Any threads, posts, journals, articles, replies, photos and comments that do so, will be removed immediately. This is a Christian site, so please respect the God we serve.
- Do not use this space to debate God's existence, Jesus' deity or any other basic Christian doctrine.
- Do not use this space to promote or proselytize disciples for any other religion.
Any thread, post, journal, reply, comment or photo that violates this Code of Conduct will be deleted and at the discretion of Glorious Tapestries, the member will be banned from the site. And if membership fees were paid, no refund will be provided.
Glorious Tapestries reserves the right to amend, modify, or revise this Code of Conduct at any time.
