The Chronological Bible Reading Plan
This bible reading plan is adapted from the Bible Reading Plan in Chronological Order by Richard Krejcir, Into Thy Word Ministries. It will carry you through the bible in an historical timeline. Each reading falls under specific categories. The Old Testament topics are as follows: Creation, The Patriarchs, Exodus, Covenant, Journey to the Promised Land, The Conquest of the Promised Land, The Judges, Various Concluding Stories, Ruth, United Kingdom, The Kings, Divided Kingdom, Southern Kingdom, The 70-Year Captivity, and Restoration.
In the New Testament, Luke was written chronologically while the other Gospels focused on events. The Chonological New Testament plan is arranged in the order in which each book was written and depicts the main topic of that book.
As in the previous, 52-week plan, you will find the scripture reference and the full scripture so that you may read online and at your convenience. I show each scripture in a variety of translations so that you may read with a fresh perspective and understanding. I have also included this link to BibleGateway.com so that you may search for your favorite version of the day's reading.
