About Glorious Tapestries
Women's lives are rich, varied and intricately interwoven...like glorious tapestries. We are beautiful and complex, powerful and warm, busy and comforting. Each of us carefully selects the colors and textures that we desire to create our lives, always with a pleasing and impressive pattern in mind. The Word of God is that pattern.
Glorious Tapestries is a new, interactive online community of Christian women in pursuit of the abundant life provided by the Word of God, specifically described in Proverbs 31:10-31.
I say "in pursuit" because, it is not easy to live up to the ideals of this Word, but God doesn't require anything of us for which He hasn't provided the means to accomplish it. And that means is His son, Jesus Christ.
You'll find practical inspiration and tools for living. The Principles of the Proverbs 31 Woman sheds light on some of the foundational standards found in Proverbs 31. Be encouraged in The Reading Room with a new daily bible verse each morning. If you need a little more than a devotional each morning, challenge yourself to follow the disciplined 52-Week Bible Reading Plan. The Ultimate Makeover, shares the opportunity for a new life in Christ.
